Background
In 1988, Lalou Bize-Leroy purchased Domaine Charles Noëllat, creating Domaine Leroy. She pushed biodynamic agriculture to its extreme, limiting yields to 15–20 hl/ha, far below legal limits. This ultra-low yield and her pursuit of purity in winemaking have created Pinot Noirs considered among the finest in the world.

Vintage Reputation
2018 was extremely hot, exceptional for Bordeaux and excellent in Burgundy, with concentrated fruit and complete structure.
Tasting Notes
Deep, clear ruby with a brilliant sheen.
Black cherry, pomegranate, rose petals, baking spice, subtle mineral underpinning.
Firm structure, precise acidity, ripe textured tannins, full fruit without losing elegance, aging 20+ years.
Complex and profound, expressing the essence of Musigny Grand Cru
Winemaker Notes
A hot year tested biodynamic practices; Leroy 2018 Musigny maintained precise acidity without losing balance despite the heat.
