Background
In 1988, Lalou Bize-Leroy purchased Domaine Charles Noëllat, creating Domaine Leroy. She pushed biodynamic agriculture to its extreme, limiting yields to 15–20 hl/ha, far below legal limits. This ultra-low yield and her pursuit of purity in winemaking have created Pinot Noirs considered among the finest in the world.

Vintage Reputation
2015 is a warm, generous vintage with high ripeness and full body, approachable early yet with long-term potential.
Tasting Notes
Deep purple-red, rich color with a hint of orange at the rim.
Ripe blackberry, licorice, dark chocolate, vanilla, deep mineral undertones.
Full and rounded, ripe fruit-forward, mature smooth tannins, acidity as backbone, will harmonize further with aging.
Complex and profound, expressing the essence of Musigny Grand Cru
Winemaker Notes
The 2015 Musigny shows rare generosity and power in tandem; Lalou credits biodynamic farming for retaining freshness in a hot year.
